Nathan & Stefanie / Married in Florida
Anyone who knows these two probably knows of their story and knows their character.
They met in Ave Maria where they both worked, Stefanie teaching at the University and Nathan working in the town. They were both highly respected among townspeople. But what people probably know best is their humble obedience and patience in waiting until the time was right to be married.
Their wedding day was a testament to their faith and obedience, as the culmination and focus of the day was not the reception, but the sacrament of the their marriage celebrated in their nuptial wedding mass. I vividly remember first sitting down with Nathan and Stephanie and discussing plans for their wedding. When I asked them what was most important to them about their photos, Nathan responded that he wanted the photos to be an instrument that would help he and Stefanie to catechize their children about the faith and the true focus of their wedding day.
This was made manifest throughout the day in both the actions and words of Nathan and Stefanie, being overwhelmingly excited to simply be married and together. They celebrated with their closest family, friends, and children in true Ave Maria fashion.
